It’s arduous to search out knowledgeable people on this matter, however you sound like you already know what you’re talking about! Thanks

A real mind blowing article. Librarians and readers need not worry, tomorrow's library will take care of themselves. Best times are still ahead

Great article. I agree 100% personal development is a must for any human being wanting to excel at life. If we all focused on this the world would be a better place. I have been dedicated to personal development for almost 10 years and it feels good to read some new content. Keep up the good work and feel free to post a comment and sitelink on my personal development blog. Thanks -David http://www.motivationandhappiness.com

I prefer my library just the way it is. I am not a technical person & do not look forward to libraries becoming more technical, even though they will be more efficient.

An interesting article, but I see it as something that ought to be taken with a grain of salt. Especially the whole "all technologies end" bit. While it's certainly true that certain things do go the way of the dinosaur, other things persist when people thought they would go away. People thought that movies would spell the end for live theater. They also thought television would mean that going out to the movies was a thing of the past. Neither proved to be true. Each one has since been asknowledged as an artform in its own right. And while certain things become less popular, often they just end up finding a niche audience that likes and respects them. Oral storytelling or even comic books, for example. Maybe you're right and maybe you're not. However, I wouldn't count the printed book out just yet. After all, no one can really forsee the future.

Libraries play an elementary role in the education of people. Therefore it´s up to the governments or municipalities to maintain good libraries. E-Books certainly are very convenient but it is not the same as a hard copy book! Here I think that libraries will not lose much of their attraction.

Some may view it as sad. I see it as a great opportunity to make libraries more fun.
