Great article! I am a female inventor, and the road to patent is as arduous as the road to commercialization. But with perseverance, great relationships, and a little luck, we can all achieve the dream. Useful inventions are based on NEED. How about the NEED to see inside a darkened camping cooler at night? As my daughter and I found out, this was an interesting idea that had not been done yet. Called the FAB Light, we successfully designed, manufactured and marketed this little gadget to the world. It sticks to the inside lid of camping coolers (Find A Beer), freezers, tool boxes, motorocycle saddlebags (Find A Bandana), and provides instant, hands free light, turning on and off automatically at the lifting of the lid. The journey was fun, and the rewards divine. Linda Pond
