It is probably no accident - that the path from codependence to independence - typically goes through a point of transition that much like a traffic circle engages us in collaborative interaction - before we individually exit the system - each (perhaps) on a separate path forward. It may also be a sad irony that those who have become codependent on others can then only imagine yet another even larger and more powerful codependent relationship as the possible solution to their dilemma - or be drawn there by those that realize the potential power in usurping that human tendency. http://unettednations.wordpress.com/?s=CODEPEND

Cut my own hair? Then when would I talk with Walt? Getting a haircut from him is better than going to any seminar or workshop. http://extras.denverpost.com/news/griego0226.htm

Good point Matt. Best to think of it as another way to test the merits of a new idea - does this have the potential to alter dependencies? And if so, which ones?

The key then, would be trying to determine which dependencies to shift, when to shift them, and what to shift them too, right? That seems to be getting trickier and trickier, as our technology develops faster and faster.
